Baby Bunny – Arthur

Meet Arthur my friend, he was my first try at crocheting a Amigurumi toy. I was completely hooked on happiness.

I was so delighted with the way he turned out he looked perfect in my eyes.

As time went by, I realized I had overstuffed him and the hook i used was the wrong size.

However, I went on to crochet another five, and each time I got a little better at making Arthur.

I sent Arthur to Amanda-Jane in South Africa and she decided to renamed him and that’s how he became “Rhubarb.”

Its a great pattern to learn Amigurumi as it only has two colours.

When I first started, I used 3.5mm hook now I prefer using 2.5mm hook.

I used Kingcole Cottonsoft DK weight 100g ball Light grey and blue.

As I find cotton a bit hard for my hands I switched over to Stylecraft Special DK Acrylic.
